Greetings from the administration and staff of Wingate High School!  Wingate High School is a Talent Development High School, a school reform model developed by Johns Hopkins University.

We are so grateful to the parents for allowing us to work with the wonderful, energetic students you have sent us.  Thank you for entrusting us with their education. Although today’s world presents many obstacles and distractions for young people, I applaud the student’s efforts to overcome those barriers and work on the basic skills they will need to be successful in the real world. We are now in our sixth year implementing the Talent Development High School model.  The teachers have been doing an excellent job of working closely with the students in each Academy.  Together, we can make a difference in helping to shape the future of our young people!
